Victory launches new model

Victory launches new modelThe Victory Fernwood was unveiled north of the border at the Scottish Caravan, Motorhome and Holiday Home Show in Glasgow in early February, and saw its official launch in England at the Caravan and Camping Show at the Birmingham NEC in the same month. The East Yorkshire manufacturer created the Fernwood after customers expressed a liking for its existing Gainford range, but also liked the colours of its Evron lodge.

The new holiday home, which is available as a 36ft two berth, 38ft two berth and a 39ft three berth, borrows from both models but has a unique layout designed to be spacious and airy in the summer months and cosy in winter.

Managing director Peter Nevitt said the Fernwood had been designed and built with customer feedback in mind.

.

He said, ‘We use shows like Glasgow and Birmingham to exhibit our ranges, but we also use them to gather feedback from customers and the public on what they want in their holiday homes and lodges.

‘The Gainford is very popular but one thing that became apparent was that people thought other colour schemes would suit the model.

‘We thought about that but then decided, why not go one better and create a whole new model, which is how the Fernwood came about.
‘It combines all the features of the Gainford that people love, but with a slightly different ambience, thereby extending our range and giving customers greater choice.’

The Fernwood comes with a range of fittings as standard, including upholstered sofa units, a central dining area with ceiling spotlights and a New World cooker. Optional add-ons include all white uPVC double glazing, combi-boiler central heating and fully insulated 50mm wall and bedding packs.

Peter said the model offered the spec that would usually be found on a significantly higher priced holiday home.

He said, ‘The Fernwood has been designed with style and luxury in mind, but at a price to suit most budgets.

‘It complements the Gainford – one of our best sellers – while at the same time offering customers a new and exciting alternative.’
