Blue Sky investmentHoliday park owners Blue Sky Leisure, an EDP Barclays Business of the Year, has announced a £1.5m investment in two of Norfolk’s leading holiday destinations, Kelling Heath Holiday Park and Woodhill Park. The investment looks set to provide a much-needed boost for the local economy as well as the natural environment.

Blue Sky Leisure, plans to spend £1.2m improving and adding to the accommodation on offer for sale or hire at both north Norfolk parks - increasing capacity at Kelling, near Holt, by 10 per cent.

The remaining £300,000 has been set aside for a two-year refurbishment of the Health and Fitness Club at Kelling Heath – the first phase of which will be complete by the time you read this. Improved customer facilities will include a new spa, steam room, sauna and poolside showers, with phase two including the refurbishment of the changing rooms, reception and gym.


Behind the scenes has not been forgotten either with a state-of-the-art eco-friendly biomass heating boiler and a new poolside air handling system being installed further enhancing Kelling’s award-winning sustainable credentials.

Operations Manager, Mark Durrant, says the investment has been prompted by healthy bookings and informed by customer feedback.
