Towergate-sponsored event heads for Cullompton

Towergate-sponsored event heads for CullomptonPark home residents in Devon and Somerset will shortly have the opportunity to attend the Towergate Insurance park home road show which visits Cullompton on 1 May. The venue for Towergate’s tenth roadshow is conveniently located just off the M5 at Willand Village Hall, in Gables Road, Willand, Cullompton (postcode for sat-nav: EX15 2PL).

The event begins at 3pm with talks from the panel which is made up of: Paul Baker, park home account director at Towergate, who initiated the roadshows in 2011 and who chairs the event; Alan Savory MBE, a senior consultant with the Independent Park Home Advisory Service (IPHAS), who received his MBE for services to the park home community and is himself a park home owner; Neil Miller, a park home legal expert from Park Home Legal Services; and Councillor Heather Morris who is chair of the Exeter City Council Park Homes Forum.

Following the presentations there will be a question and answer session, where the panel will do their best to respond to any park home-related question.


The speakers will focus on park home legislation and the recent changes contained in the Mobile Homes Act 2013 affecting buying and selling, site rules, site licensing and pitch fees. The event is scheduled to finish at 5pm.

The events are always very well attended and numbers are limited to 150.To register please email or call 0844 8921417 and ask for Paul. Entry is free; tea and coffee will be served on arrival and prior booking is essential.

So far, more than 1,200 park home residents have attended the road shows and the general concensus is that they are very worthwhile and informative.
