A park home with the wow factor

A park home with the wow factorA stunning new park home, voted best home at the recent World of Park & Leisure Homes Show at Stoneleigh Park, has been sold to a happy couple at a Lincolnshire park.

The Traditions was custom designed by the team at Prestige Park & Leisure Homes and Charles Birch, owner of Birch’s Park Homes. Mr Birch wanted the home to turn heads at the Stoneleigh Show, held from 7 to 9 June, and it did exactly that. In fact, the Traditions was snapped up by Ken and Sharon Vallance for £200,000 at the Warwickshire-based event - Europe’s biggest specialist mobile home show - within 24 hours of the gates being opened.

The couple, who had been in discussions with both Prestige and Birch’s before the show, had intended to plump for a Prestige Anthem. However, after arriving at the show the Vallances were so impressed by the bespoke-built Traditions that they had a change of heart.

Ken and Sharon, from High Wycombe, in Buckinghamshire, have had the home transported to Little London Park, in Torksey, near Lincoln - one of the Birch’s Groups’ premier sites.

The couple had been planning for life at the park for some time but their decision to change their choice of home was something of a surprise.
Sharon said, ‘As soon as I stepped inside the Traditions, I fell in love with it and had my heart set on it.

‘From day one, both Prestige and Birch’s have gone the extra mile to help us with our choices. We can’t speak highly enough about either company and would not hesitate to recommend either.’

Ken, Sharon and their Jack Russell dog hoped to move into their brand new 51ft x 21 home on the park in mid-July.
