Open weekend at Shropshire park site a big success

Open weekend at Shropshire park site a big successA picturesque village park, which has been owned by the same family for more than 50 years, attracted scores of visitors to a recent open weekend. Homelands Park (pictured below), in Chorley, Shropshire, opened its doors to more than 50 people in May to showcase its homes for sale.

Park owner Bryan Home said, ‘Our open weekend was a success. The weather enabled people to have a good walk round the show homes, available plots and allotments and also to sit out enjoying light refreshments in the sunshine. All the visitors seemed to be impressed by the quality and peaceful surroundings of the park.’

.

The park is set in the outskirts of a small village adjacent to woodlands, offering tranquillity for walks and nature lovers. The park offers residents a peaceful countryside environment, including allotments and fishing in the nearby woodland. Homes even enjoy views across a gently sloping adjoining valley. The local village has a popular pub within walking distance, while a shop and doctor’s surgery are just two miles away. The River Severn and Severn Valley Railway are located in the village of Highley which is approximately four miles from the park. The towns of Bridgnorth, Bewdley and Cleobury Mortimer are also within easy reach.
