Extreme fundraising

Extreme fundraisingKeen to raise money for charity, Gavin Cox, Leisure Manager of Plas Coch Holiday Home Park in Anglesey, and his colleague Luke Mitchell, decided to take on an extreme challenge to kick-start fundraising for the park’s chosen charity of the year, Wales Air Ambulance. Turning their back on a weekend of rest and relaxation, they entered the Viva Extreme Challenge, held on the Vynol Estate in Bangor. Gavin and Luke were sponsored by Plas Coch Directors, colleagues, holiday home owners and suppliers, and together they raised just under £2,000 for the charity.

Gavin enthused, ‘Luke and I were so happy to cross the finish line knowing we had completed the course and raised vital funds for Wales Air Ambulance.’

Unlike other cross-country runs, Viva Extreme takes over a week to build, with climbing walls, scramble nets, hurdles, ice tanks, Olympic lifts, mud attack, boxed-in challenges and much more.
