Industry figures help our heroes

Industry figures help our heroesTwo prominent park home industry figures are getting on their bike to raise money for injured British personnel and their families.

Adam Griffin, of Pineview Parks, and Martin Clifton, of Homeseeker, will ride a special Quattrocycle  alongside Philip Kent and Darren Ford through the countryside of south-east England and France this May for the Help for Heroes charity.

Adam and Martin, nicknamed ‘the Racing Snake’, will embark on the 400-mile cycle journey with injured soldiers on their Team Quad Challenge. The epic ride, which will take five days, will culminate in a mass ride with hundreds of other Help for Heroes supporters from Blackheath Common to the Cenotaph. There will then be a wreath laying service for fallen service men and women.

.

The unusual Quattrocycle is a four-man bike with only five gears. It weighs twice as much as four road bikes but has plenty of character and is set to attract a lot of attention.

So far, the team has already raised almost £2,000 but there is still time to help support its cause. You can make a donation at www.bmycharity.com/teamquad, by texting Quad50£(amount) to 700 70, or by sending  a cheque, made payable to ‘Help for Heroes’, to: TeamQuad, Help for Heroes, c/o Park Office, Blunsdon Abbey Park, Blunsdon St Andrew, Swindon, SN25 2DU.

The team is also offering the opportunity for a business to sponsor the Quattrocyle, with company logo printed on the bike canopy and cycle clothing.

If your organisation is interested in sponsoring the challenge, please call Helen Ford on 01793 722100, alternatively you can email HelenFord@pineview.co.uk.
