Charity Gets Boost

junenewsboostEast Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (Each) has been given a helping hand from park home manufacturer Country Homes after an early upturn in their business in the first quarter.

Country Homes has since seen a production increase of 25 per cent in the first two months of 2012, with further growth anticipated for the coming months. The increased business has seen Country Homes make significant investments at their Suffolk headquarters, with a new show home soon to be launched on site in April and an overhaul of their IT systems already in place to help keep up with design and administrative demands.

This new IT system installation has meant that several relatively new flat screens recently became surplus to requirement so Country Homes contacted Each to see if they could put them to good use to raise funds. Hannah Bloom, Each Suffolk Partnerships Manager, said: “The screens were a welcome donation and will raise valuable funds for our hospices. We’re really pleased that Country Homes thought of us.”

HRH the Duchess of Cambridge is a patron of Each and recently made her first public speech during a visit to open their Treehouse, a hospice service for Suffolk and Essex.

Country Homes manufactures a range of park homes including residential homes and lodges, and has a workforce of 40 staff at their base in Brome. For further information about Country Homes visit www.countryhomes-parkhomes.co.uk or call 01379 871041.
