NEW SHOWROOMLuxury residential and holiday park operator Lifestyle Living Group are moving to a purpose-built new showroom and offices in the heart of Cambridgeshire, where customers will be able to view residential park homes, lodges and static caravans under one roof.

Lordsbridge Farm, on Wimpole Road, Cambridge, is the only indoor showroom in the UK to feature an undercover selection of lodges, park homes and caravans.

Ryan Neill, owner of Lifestyle Living Group said, ‘Our wonderful new site is designed with our customers in mind. People can come along and browse all types of accommodation at their leisure, whatever the weather. We have stock for almost every budget.

‘All our full range of offerings will be available to view indoors as soon as the new flooring is laid and with dedicated staff on site, people can be assured of a premium service.’

New offices have also been built at the Farm, which sits very close to the M11, presenting visitors with the opportunity to review all eight of the group’s residential and holiday parks, stretching the length and breadth of the country, while comparing features and costs in comfort.

Ryan continued, ‘Pre-fabricated properties have continued to rise in popularity, and we foresee this fuelling further growth at Lifestyle Living Group in the years ahead. Bricks and mortar property prices are still on the up, making pre-fabricated builds a viable alternative, particularly with retirees who want to free up equity from their existing homes to enjoy a little comfort in their twilight years.

‘It’s a fresh start for us in an ideal location. When my family took ownership of the company last year we wanted to move to new offices in a place that is more accessible to our customers, with the capacity for a sales centre with the wow factor.’

Flushed with success!

febnewsloo107A five-star caravan park on the Cambrian coast has completed a notable double at the Loo of the Year Awards 2014.

Min-y-Don Holiday Home and Touring Park, at Harlech, won the national category and market sector awards for holiday parks across the UK. In addition, the park retained the highest platinum grading at the presentation ceremony in Solihull.

Managers Sue and Richard Hodgson were delighted to regain the market sector award, having lost it last year to a caravan park in Scotland.

Since its introduction in 1987, the annual Loo of the Year Awards competition has helped to encourage the highest possible standards in all types of ‘away from home’ or public toilets. The awards are run independently and promoted by the British Toilet Association. This year, there were more than 1,600 entries for the awards.

In our February issue (page 10), we published an article on Westwood Park, in St Osyth, Essex. We would like to clarify that this park currently holds a 12-month holiday park licence – not a full residential one - and so is not protected by the Mobile Homes Act.
