Should park home residents have to pay monthly council tax as well as plot fees?

New Model Review: The Wessex Classic

If you’re after a lodge that really delivers on its name, then the Classic from Wessex will make the buying process a lot easier for you...

Wessex

Already a firm favourite, as the name suggests, the Classic is one of the most popular lodges in the Wessex range, and will appeal to most buyers on a lot of different levels. This model exudes class and elegance, and can easily be personalised further with a few extra touches by any owner, if you fancied doing that, although it really doesn’t need it and will look just as lovely as it is.

Never tire
That means it’s a lodge you’ll never tire of and will always look bang-up-to-date and inviting. Although fairly understated and unfussy, the colours in this version are really rather gorgeous, as well as bringing a touch of countryside charm to them.

Each room you enter simply pleases visually because they each have a clean and clear vibe - great for those who really want to unwind, rather than have all their senses stimulated by a busy décor.

Wessex

The layouts help deliver that restful ambience with plenty of floor space and light built in. There’s not one spot in this model that will make you feel claustrophobic – quite the opposite, in fact! Little touches such as chrome sockets and swatches, and oak veneer doors with polished chrome handles add to that feeling of quality throughout.

Undoubtedly, the real strength of this lodge is in the smooth and simple lines of the interior design – exactly what a classic model should be all about! The design and build experience back at base with this manufacturer are in evidence here, with every element working well both practically and visually. With the exception of curtains to the lounge windows in the front elevation, the windows are dressed mainly with blinds – just one of the ‘invisible’ design touches that contribute to this home’s seamlessly clean overall feel.

Layout
This 40ft x 20 example has two bedrooms, an open plan kitchen/lounge/diner and separate utility, family bathroom, twin bedroom and master with en suite shower room. The Classic is available in a range of standard floor plans from 36ft x 20 through to 45ft x 20 but, even at 36ft x 20, the rooms still feel spacious – the larger models just add more space to the living areas and bedrooms.
